CFA Level 3 Exam Details
Date Pattern:
The CFA Level III exams are conducted 2 times in a year – February and August.CFA EXAM Pattern:
According to 2023 Exam Pattern, each session will now have either 6 item sets and 5 essay sets or 5 item sets and 6 essay sets. The mixed distribution of item types across the two exam sessions will create a more-balanced delivery of questions throughout the exam. Overall the Level III exam will contain 11 essay sets and 11 item sets for 12 points each.However, you would still have to take a gap of 6 months in between the exam in case you don’t clear it. For Eg – If you attempt Feb 2024 exam which you don’t clear, you would be eligible for a 2nd attempt in August 2024.
The exam results are available within 10 weeks following your exam
No negative marking
- Bachelor’s Degree: Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree received from the college/university.
- CFA Level II: One must have completed their Graduation and cleared the CFA Level 1 exam to appear for CFA Level 2 Exam.

He has worked on both the buy side as well as sell side in companies like Crisil, JHP etc. His rich experience in Investment banking and financial modeling has honed and strengthened his strategies and broadened his knowledge of portfolio across all investment types and asset classes.
